A revitalizing drink to aid in detoxification and build a diverse microbiome.
Equipment needed:
- High speed blender – 70-ounce container is best.
- Tupperware that holds 40 ounces minimum
- Stainless steel thermos 40 ounces (like from Walmart).
Combine in a Ninja or any high-speed blender:
Step 1: Combine:
4-6 ice cubes
24 oz of water*
Add one peeled lemon, de-seeded
1 organic granny smith apple cut up
1 piece of fresh ginger root @ 1 inch-no need to peel
2-5 cloves of peeled garlic cloves
Piece of turmeric root @ 1 inch or ground spice 1 tsp
2 oz of unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
1 handful of parsley or cilantro
Blend well for a minute pour into Tupperware.
Step 2: Combine (water with 2 leafy greens and 2 non leafy vegetables):
24 oz of water*
Leafy Greens 1/2 – 1/3 bunch:
Spinach
Mustard Greens
Kale
Swiss Chard
Dandelion
Arugula
Turnip
Collards
Non-Leafy Vegetables
Broccoli 1 crown
Radishes 4-6
Leek ½
Celery 4 stalks
A small amount of added fresh dill is excellent for liver health.
Blend to a liquid consistency and pour it into the Tupperware storage container.
Gently mix all liquid in the Tupperware, then fill up the 40 oz stainless steel thermos. Store the remaining monster in the fridge till tomorrow.
I recommend drinking this throughout the morning or the afternoon.
*Add water to create the consistency you prefer, 24 oz is recommended.
Recommended to drink 7 days a week.
